IPI srl was born in 1981 as a result of International Paper's taking over "Resolvo" system owned by Buitoni Company.

IPI's early years focused on its consolidation on the market and development of a new packaging process, keeping "Resolvo system" as a starting point.
Our efforts resulted in the Aseptic System SA.
The first installation of the SA-50 dates back to 1982. Since then SA machines have been successful worldwide, giving invaluable contributions to our customers' development and growth.
In 1995 the range of SA machines has been enhanced with the SA-65, a machine that combines Sa-50 most important basis concepts with a higher operating speed.
End of 90's sees packaging opening and closing systems being upgraded, as a response to the market evolution.
Therefore, two opening systems were rapidly launched: Twist-pak (1999) and Clip-pak (2001), which the SA system users gladly accepted.

In 2002 IPI was involved in a management buyout, therefore IPI management bought out the ownership control of the company.

Now IPI srl is an independent company and still successfully plays the role of partner/supplier for companies packaging liquid products in aseptic multilayer carton.
